Congrats to the Queen

Queen Annapolisa LXXVII Lindsay Margaret Pearl of Kentville received congratulations and flowers at Kentville Town Council’s monthly meeting June 10. “I can’t stress how very much we are proud of you,” said Mayor Dave Corkum. “We wish you a wonderful year.” The town received a plaque from Festival organizers, Corkum added, because “we’re the only town in the Valley to receive platinum sponsorship.” Pearl told council that she appreciated the town’s efforts before and during the Apple Blossom festivities, especially with the Kentville Princess parade float. “I couldn’t have done it without the town’s support.“ Lindsay is the daughter of councillor Mark Pearl and Mona Pearl of Kentville.
