Three generations of one Kentville family took part in the Apple Blossom Festival Children’s Parade May 29.
In fact, Tania and Lawrence Carbonaro drove all the way from New Hampshire to take part with their three children and keep the family tradition going.

Tania’s mother, Joanne Mailman, had a bright green fabric pea pod all ready to pop the Carbonaros’ three-month-old twins into.
The two “peas in a pod,” Seraphina and Dante, were joined by their older brother, Russell, the “Jolly Green Giant.” The pod rested on an earth-coloured wagon.
Mailman, who will admit she was a child in the parade about 50 years ago, already has plans for the grandchildren for 2011.
Last year, she fabricated a miniature replica of the Cornwallis Inn for the event.
“I love this parade,” Mailman beamed.
