Annapolis Valley Chamber of Commerce hands out awards

The Annapolis Valley Chamber of Commerce held its business awards Nov. 8 at the Old Orchard Inn.

A lifetime achievement award was given to mother and daughter dance school team of Linda and Gaea Jess for their joint efforts building and running Cadance Academy.

Awards were presented in six categories:

Outstanding new business of the year

Equilibrium Engineering

Outstanding micro business of the year

Thermo Homes

Outstanding exporter of the year
