David Lawrence Fitzgerald, who lives on Highway 205, is charged with four counts of possession for the purpose of trafficking and three counts of trafficking.
He is now scheduled back in court Oct. 5, 2015, for a preliminary hearing on the charges. A judge presiding over such a hearing will determine if there is enough evidence to send he case to trial.
Meanwhile, Colleen Lynn D'Orsay, 38, who is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking in marijuana, is scheduled to return to court Nov. 24 to enter a plea to the charge.
The pair was charged in August after RCMP intercepted a large quantity of drugs being shipped by mail from British Columbia.
Police seized approximately 10 pounds of marijuana, three ounces of cocaine, some 2,700 tablets of ecstasy, and six ounces of ecstasy in powder form. They also confiscated approximately $2,500 in cash.
