Lights and song will brighten Kentville Nov. 23.

The annual torchlight parade will begin at town hall at 6 p.m. on its way to Centre Square. Kids for Christ Junior Choir will perform at 6:30 p.m., followed by a presentation from CentreStage Theatre and the town tree will be lit up.

At 7 p.m., Centennial arena will host a family skate. Food bank donations will be taken at both town hall and the arena.

There will be a light exchange again this year. Bring two strings of traditional holiday lights and receive one string of LED lights from Efficiency Nova Scotia and Nova Scotia Power. Info: Gillian, 679-2539.
