Kentville-area Christmas home tour underway

Margo Corkum (left) and Paula Huntley were busy decorating Corkum's home for the third annual Christmas Home Tour this morning to be ready for visitors.

The tour involves four homes: Corkum's at 65 Oakdene Ave., Kentville; Ruth Ann Stirling's, 1237 Highway 341, Upper Canard; Susan Escott's, 1258 Highway 341, Upper Canard, and Heather MacRae's, 2697 Mountain View Rd., Coldbrook.

The homes are collecting donations for the Fundy Interchurch Food Bank and ticket sales benefit the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation Atlantic Region and local animal rescue groups WAAG, HART and CAPS.

The tour runs from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 24 and tickets are available at the participating homes.
