The Valley Youth Project (VYP) is re-launching its twice-monthly drop-ins at a new location – the Louis Millet Community Complex in New Minas.
The drop-ins will take place on the first and third Wednesdays of each month from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m.
On the agenda are food, games, music, and a chance to meet people from all over the Valley.
The VYP is open to all youth, 25 and under, who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, transsexual, transgender, intersex, two-spirited, queer, or questioning, as well as straight allies.
VYP is an Annapolis Valley-based non-profit organization run by local volunteers. It was founded in 2009. The purpose is to provide a safe and supportive space to meet, share, and foster a community.
The group is affiliated with the Nova Scotia Youth Project, which has been running since 1993.
