CAMBRIDGE - A pancake breakfast and indoor yard sale was held Feb. 27 at Central Kings, with the proceeds going to the school's band and music program.

CK band teacher Paul Hutten said the proceeds from the fundraiser would go toward the purchase of new band instruments.

"On the average, it costs around $500 for an inexpensive instrument, and the more expensive ones can run as high as $5,000," Hutten said.

All the fundraising for the school band is done by the CK Band Parents Association. In addition, Hutten said, "we get great community support."
