Communities in Kings County showed they cared judging by a recent food bank drive in two Kings County high schools.

“We are pleased to share that a strong sense of community is being felt this year as Central Kings and Horton High School wrapped up their ninth annual food bank challenge,” said Horton teacher Renata Verri.

Combined, both schools collected over 19,000 items - food and money - to support food banks in Berwick, Kentville and Wolfville.

“We would like to extend a heartfelt thanks to the communities for their generosity and support,” added Central Kings teach Elinor Cameron.
