A 22-year-old Kings County woman fell to her death in Hall’s Harbour early August 17.
New Minas RCMP members received a 911 call around 4:26 a.m. reporting a person had fallen over a shoreline cliff. The Hall's Harbour Fire Department and Emergency Health Services were summoned to the scene. It was determined the woman fell after leaving a camper to look for a dog barking outside.
A second person at the camper realized there was no response from the woman and initiated a search, which resulted in the discovery of the woman at the bottom of an approximately 75-foot cliff with a very unstable edge.
There is no foul play suspected and the investigation is continuing.
