SAFETY in the workplace. Who's responsibility is it? It is the responsibility of the employee. It is the responsibility of the contractor. It is the responsibility of the Health and Safety Board, to inspect job sites for safety violations. It is the responsibility of the people who hired the contractor to make sure safety procedures are followed, for liability reasons. It is the responsibility of the job site manager. Where was everybody when these two guys fell? It appears as though many people turned a blind eye to their responsibilities. Should the living parties responsible for this death go to jail? Should they be sued by the family of the deceased? You be the Judge.

That is no accident. It was an incident of inproper safety training, every person that is more than 5 feet off the ground should be wearing proper safety harnesses (as it is the law). Every employee is responsible for their own safety and should make sure their work place employees proper safety training and practices. If any person whether an employee or a passer by sees unsafe work place should call the Labour Department.
