Fire guts Kingston home

Three people were unharmed but lost most belongings when fire gutted a mobile home Oct. 31 in Kingston.

Canadian Red Cross volunteers offered some emergency aid, including clothing and food purchases and some personal-care items to the two adults and a nine-year-old girl, while insurance adjusters looked after temporary motel lodging.

There was no immediate word on the cause of the fire on Hillcrest Avenue.
