The First Coldbrook Sparks, including Azlyn Hart (left) and Kenzie Andrews, were among those taking part with their green and red glow sticks as the Town of Kentville hosted its annual torchlight parade and tree lighting Nov. 23. The parade started out behind town hall, winded its way around the block and back to Centre Square. A family skate at Centennial Arena followed the parade and tree lighting. Food bank donations were taken at town hall and at the arena during the skate and Efficiency Nova Scotia and Nova Scotia Power were back with their free LED light exchange. Those bringing in two strings of traditional glass holiday lights for recycling received one string of LED lights.
