Dollarama, Kings Transit windows shot out in New Minas

Kings District RCMP is looking for the public’s assistance in finding the person responsible for causing property damage to the Dollarama Store and a Kings Transit Bus in New Minas.   

The mischief occurred on Nov. 29 between 8:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. The damage was caused by an individual who shot a BB-style gun at four of the Dollarama store windows and later, the rear window of a Kings Transit Bus.   

The total cost of repairs to all the windows is approximately $4,000.  

The Kings District RCMP is asking anyone with information regarding this incident to contact any RCMP Detachment or report it anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or through the secure web site at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca . An arrest and charges on the tip may result in a cash award.
