Kentville Police want people to keep valuables out of vehicles and to lock vehicle doors – day or night.
Police have received a number of calls about thefts from vehicles in the past few weeks. Money, electronics, tools and personal documents are among items stolen.
Witnesses describe a suspect in the thefts as a white male in his early to mid 20s, 5’8” to 5’10” tall with a medium to large build, was wearing a dark hoodie with a light colored vest, dark jeans, dark ball hat and sneakers.
The public is urged to notify police if they see anyone acting suspicious around their vehicles. Anyone with information regarding these incidents is asked to contact police at 678-3378.
