The Valley Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit executed a warrant under the Controlled Drug and Substances Act at a South Alton residence on Dec. 11.
Marijuana and a prohibited firearm with ammunition was seized during the search.
Six people were arrested at the scene, four residents of the address and two visitors. A 46-year-old, South Alton man, Wayne Brenton Medicraft, was held and will appear on charges of possession of marijuana and four charges in relation to possession of an unlicenced and prohibited firearm.
