Plows were out in Berwick and firefighters were responding to calls of tree limbs down on power lines as Environment Canada continued its storm warning Dec. 19.

A low pressure system to the south of Nova Scotia will continue to give rain and gusty winds over Southern Nova Scotia today. An additional 10 millimeters of rain is expected by this afternoon. As temperatures begin to cool, the rain is expected to change over to snow. Five to 10 centimeters of snow is possible by this evening.
