A truck headed east on Kentville’s Main Street veered across the road, through a post, along the sidewalk and into the stairway of Wickwire House just before noon Jan. 7.

Kentville Police spokesman Const. Mike Goss said the 83-year-old, male driver seemed to have suffered a medical emergency.

EHS paramedics took the driver to hospital. Goss said the Berwick man was doing well and was not seriously injured.
