Visitor restrictions lifted at Valley Regional

Visitor restrictions at Valley Regional Hospital in Kentville have now been lifted.

Visitor restrictions had been placed on medical units at Valley Regional Hospital due to a gastrointestinal illness that was circulating.

Annapolis Valley Health reminds the public that regular and thorough hand washing can help prevent the spread of illness. As well, members of the public are advised to not visit patients at the hospital if they are not feeling well themselves.

AVH appreciates your help and apologizes for any inconvenience this may have caused.
