Coldbrook woman arrested for trafficking hydromorphone

The RCMP Drug Section has arrested a female in Coldbrook for trafficking hydromorphone pills.  

Earlier this week, the RCMP Drug Section received information about a suspicious package originating in Kentville that was sent to Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island. A 37-year-old male and a 23-year-old female were arrested by RCMP in PEI after they picked up the package. They have been charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking and appeared in Provincial Court in Charlottetown Jan. 11.  

RCMP in Nova Scotia executed a search warrant at a residence on Pinecrest Drive in Coldbrook the same day and arrested a 41-year-old female without incident.  

The 41-year-old female from Coldbrook is facing charges of trafficking. She is scheduled to appear in Kentville Provincial Court on March 18.
