RCMP are investigating a robbery in Kingston.

On Jan. 20, at 2:20 p.m, a lone male entered the Valley Drug Mart Pharmasave on Main Street and approached the pharmacy counter. The suspect displayed a weapon to the clerk and demanded to be provided with prescription medication (methadone).

The clerk complied with the suspect's demands. The man then departed the store on foot and was last seen east bound on Main Street. No one was injured. The matter remains under investigation.

Calls to Crime Stoppers are not taped or traced and if police make an arrest and lay charges based on a tip, callers qualify for a cash reward from $50 - $2000.
