Beware phone scammers

There is phone fraud activity in the province, and a Wolfville resident recently was offered a free Bell cellphone.

Kings RCMP Cst. Blair MacMurtery says callers in Stewiacke and Cheticamp are also reporting the scam.

“Do not give anyone access to your personal information and don’t ever give out your social security number over the phone,” he warns.
