Auburn drug bust

Kings County Integrated Street Crime Enforcement Unit, consisting of RCMP and Kentville Police Service members, executed a drug search warrant on an Auburn apartment April 7.

The search revealed marijuana, prescription pills and drug trafficking paraphernalia.

Two  Kings County men were arrested as the apartment was searched. A female and a child were released at the scene.

The apartment tenant, a 22-year-old man, faces charges of possession for the purpose of trafficking in prescription drug, possession of cannabis marihuana and possession of a prescription drug. He was released on conditions to appear in provincial court May 30 to answer to the charges. The second man was released without charges.
