One arrested after Cambridge crash

New Minas RCMP have arrested a youth who was allegedly involved in an Oct. 27 crash near Cambridge that injured two people.

The youth faces a number of charges, including: two counts of dangerous driving causing bodily harm; failing to remain at the scene of an accident; operating a motor vehicle while disqualified; operating a motor vehicle without a valid driver’s licence and failure to comply with a probation order.  

Waterville and District Fire Department and RCMP officers were called to the scene of the single vehicle accident Oct. 27 around 1:30 a.m. on Prospect Road. The vehicle had left the road and hit a power pole. 

Two teenage passengers were injured and remain in hospital with serious injuries.
