Acadia's Axewomen rugby squad earned a 41-10 win over the UPEI Panthers Saturday afternoon in Wolfville.

Acadia Player of the Game Emilie Chaisson had three tries for the Axewomen; Katelyn Little added a pair; Labenski and Riley Kitchen chipped in one apiece for Acadia, which led 17-5 at halftime.

The Axewomen improved to 2-0 on the season with the win, while UPEI dropped to 1-1. Acadia is next in action Sept. 23 at St. Thomas in Fredericto.
