Acadia hockey head coach Darren Burns has confirmed forward Chris Moulson will join the Axemen roster starting in early January.

The 5’11”, 190-pound Mississauga, ON native spent 2009-10 and a portion of last season at Cornell University. He has been at Acadia since September, but was ineligible to play until January.

Prior to attending Cornell, Moulson played with the Alberni Valley Bulldogs in the B.C. Hockey League, where he had 17 goals and 66 points over two seasons and served as an assistant captain.

Moulson comes from a hockey-playing family. His older brother Matt plays for the NHL’s New York Islanders, and his older sister Shannon played hockey at Niagara University.

His Acadia debut will likely be Jan. 2 when the Axemen take on St. F.X. at 4 p.m. in Berwick.
