Wildcats lose OT game with Mustangs

Brennan Bailey scored in overtime to give the visiting Canadian Tire Mustangs a 4-3 victory Jan. 31 over the Valley Wildcats in major midget hockey action.

The Wildcats had a 2-0 lead before watching the South Shore squad fire the next three markers.

Grant Janes tied the score in the third period to force overtime.

Zachary Moody and Rory Graham also scored for the Wildcats while assists went to Gareth Nicholson (2), Nicholas Blanchard and Jacob McNutt.

Michael Pettet made 38 saves in the loss.

Valley had beaten the Mustanges 6-5 two nights earlier.
