I wish to say thank you to the Register/Advertiser for the many years of coverage of my activities and appearances as town crier on behalf of the Municipal communities I represent and as the crier for our Annapolis Valley Apple Blossom Festival. The coverage and exposure you have provided is important to me as well as those in our town crier Fraternity, the Nova Scotia Guild of Town Criers, in informing our respective Municipal sponsors that we are actively fulfilling our roles in their interests at functions and events they may not ordinarily be aware of. Such coverage is therefore important for us, as your local criers, in assisting us to nurture the relationships with our respective councils, commissions and communities. For your interest and support, on behalf of myself and my fellow criers, thank you. Lloyd Smith, town crier of Windsor, the Municipalities of West Hants and Kings, the Towns of Hantsport, Wolfville and Kentville, the Villages of New Minas, Kingston and Greenwood and the crier for the Annapolis Valley Apple Blossom Festival. Honorary Lifetime Member, the Ancient and Honourable Guild of Town Criers of the United Kingdom and, as founding member, the Nova Scotia Guild of Town Criers.
