Members of the climbing club at West Kings District High School have been preparing for a U18 indoor bouldering competition taking place at the school on February 9. Bouldering is a form of climbing that does not require ropes, and in this instance, will take place on the climbing wall located on the stage in the cafeteria. All are welcome to attend this event and learn more about this sport, which is growing in popularity, and promotes the development of core strength and critical thinking skills. The competition begins at 9 a.m. and continues into the afternoon.
