FALMOUTH, N.S. – Three generations of the Pothier family were all smiles as they cut the red ribbon on the newly retrofitted car dealership in Falmouth on Oct. 5, 2017.

Chad Pothier, vice president and general manager of Pothier Motors said he was thrilled to see the project come to completion.

“My grandparents started this place in 1957 and we’ve went through several changes since then,” Chad said. “This new building is a culmination of 10 years of planning and it took a year to complete the new showroom here.”

Chad says the revamped dealership was a $5-million plus undertaking.

“It feels great having everybody under one roof now, we had three separate ones before,” he said. “It’s a much more energy efficient building.”

Chad said the new facility includes a larger, more modern show floor and expanded services bays that can handle more diverse vehicles.

“It’s a big day for us, for sure,” he added.

The founders of Pothier Motors Tom and Jackie Pothier said they were extremely proud to be part of celebrations.
