Port Williams Days filled with fun: Slideshow

Published on June 12, 2017

PORT WILLIAMS, NS - Yard sales drew a crowd on June 10, but Port Williams Days is a genuine community event.

Teeming rain delayed the fireworks on June 9, but everyone at the afternoon parade expressed happiness they were rescheduled.
Saturday’s lineup included the popular Village Wide Yard Sale, which was in its 18th year. The new Tribute to Truckers at the community centre was a success.
The fire department held its chicken barbecue, followed by the children’s parade through the village. Then there were children’s activities at the Port Williams Park.
A freewill offering supper and the fireworks, set up across the Cornwallis River, ended a full day.
