The Valley is a busy place this summer

KINGS COUNTY, NS – There are a wide variety of interesting events coming up this week in the Valley.

On Thursday, July 6, Ontario-based singer/songwriter Crissi Cochrane is performing at Studio Z at the Acadia Cinema in Wolfville.
Soul Brother Mike is going to be on stage too. Tickets are $10 and the doors will open at 7:30 p.m.
Then on Friday July 7 at Wilsons in Berwick for Art Night Under the Stars is designed to celebrate the local art community.
Local artists will showcase and sell their work. There will be live music by the band Swig. Art Night is a fundraiser for the Kings branch of the SPCA.
This coming Saturday artist Monica Forestall will offer the first in a summer series of free art workshop for youth in Annapolis Royal.
On July 8, the workshop will run from 1-5 p.m. The theme is celebrating the 100th anniversary of Fort Anne National Park.
A strawberry social is set for Sunday, July 9 at Prescott House near Port Williams. Lively music will be provided by the Forever Young Fiddlers.
The social in the garden will run from 1:30- 3:30 p.m. rain or shine.
The $8 admission includes a tour of the museum at Starr’s Point.
Music with a Cuban flavor will ring out at the King’s Theatre in Annapolis Royal on Sunday evening.
The 7:30 p.m. concert features Los Primos. The summer tour features Jeff Goodspeed, Augusto Enriquez, and three of the most promising and inspired young musicians from Havana, Cuba.
