KENTVILLE, NS - The Kentville Police Service is asking for help from the public to locate a missing 50-year-old man.

Richard Allen Fry was last heard from by phone on May 6. He is described as a white man who is six-foot-four-inches in height with a thin build and reddish-grey balding hair. A clothing description is not available.

Fry’s phone was last used in Toronto on May 7 but Kentville Police Chief Julia Cecchetto said in a May 24 news release that his family believes he was heading back to Nova Scotia on a bus. Police have been unable to confirm Fry being on any of the buses.

There is no information suggesting that Fry has met with foul play but there is concern for his wellbeing. Officers are asking for Fry or anyone with information on Fry’s whereabouts to call the Kentville Police Service at 902-678-3378.

Callers who wish to remain anonymous can contact Crimestoppers toll-free at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), submit a secure web tip at www.crimestoppers.ns.ca or use the P3 Tips app.
