Wolfville will have a permanent chief administrative officer again by the end of next month.
Joshua Pyrcz, who grew up in Wolfville, will take on the job as of Sept. 23. He recently worked for the city of Leduc as director of intergovernmental affairs and corporate performance.
“I am truly excited to welcome Josh back to Wolfville” Mayor Jeff Cantwell said in a release. “I am really looking forward to utilizing Josh’s experience in intergovernmental relations and economic development”.
The town has been without a full-time top administrator since April when Dianne Mombourquette left for a post in Halifax after 18 months in Wolfville. Former Municipality of Kings CAO Brian Smith has been filling the role on an interim basis for the town.
