Boil water order lifted in Canning and Kingsport

Effective June 29, 2018, the Falmouth area is under a boil water advisory.
The boil water advisory in Canning and Kingsport was lifted Aug. 4.

CANNING, N.S. – The boil water advisory is no longer in effect.

Customers of the Village of Canning Water Utility were informed that the water was cleared for consumption Aug. 4.

“Testing has been completed and indicates water is safe for consumption,” a notice circulated by the Municipality of the County of Kings reads.

The boil advisory was ordered Aug. 1, but the water quality concerns prompting the order have been addressed.
