MIDDLETON, NS – A woman who works 60 hours a week and just bought a new car awoke this morning (Aug. 22) to find somebody had spray painted swastikas and dollar signs on her new vehicle.
She discovered the graffiti early in the morning. Police said the smell of spray paint was still strong at 6 a.m.
The car was parked behind the house on the east end of Main Street (Highway 1) in Middleton. Police said a youth had been reported in the area at about 5 a.m.
Annapolis District RCMP are investigating.
“Anytime there is vandalism in the community, we need the public’s help with the investigation,” said RCMP Const. Cheryl Ponee. “Even though you may think the information is minor in detail, it could be the key to solving the investigation.”
Const. Ponee said anyone with information on the incident, should contact the RCMP at 902-825-2000 in Middleton or 902-665-4481 in Bridgetown.
