KENTVILLE - Police seized pills, marijuana and illegal tobacco in a recent search on Oakdene Avenue in Kentville.

The Kentville Police Service and Kings Street Crime Enforcement Unit executed a search warrant under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Jan. 18, said Kentville Police Service Insp. Darryl Brown in a prepared statement.

A 32-year-old woman was arrested as a result of the search, and charged with possessing hydromorphone and cannabis for the purpose of trafficking, as well as possession of illegal tobacco and oxycodone.
