Lunenburg County man charged with trafficking cocaine

RCMP are asking for the public’s help in finding an ATV stolen from Caledonia.

Gold River, NS - A Lunenburg County has been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking.

Saturday morning police arrested two men after searching a Gold River home and conducting targeted traffic stops. They found cocaine, cash, scales and packaging materials.
Steven Joseph Pennell, 48, Gold River is being held in custody and will appear at the Bridgewater Justice Centre on April 18 for a bail hearing.
The second man has been released from custody. Further charges are possible while police continue the investigation.
The investigation team includes members of the South Shore Integrated Street Crime Unit and Lunenburg County District RCMP. The South Shore Integrated Street Crime Unit includes members of the RCMP and Bridgewater Police Service.
