WINDSOR, N.S. - With several banners dotting the stage at the Avon View High School auditorium, school coaches, at times emotional, welcomed their athletes up team by team and one by one to present them with athletic awards and to thank them for their dedication.
Avon View’s athletic director, Jim Bryan, said the awards can sometimes be very difficult to choose, given the amount of talent present at the school.
“We hope students focus on their positive experiences they had while playing sports for Avon View,” Bryan said.
“They have all been great ambassadors, not only for their school, but they also represented Hants County with pride,” he said.
“We are very proud of all of them and look forward to more memories with returning students and best of luck to all graduating student athletes.”
