In Nova Scotia Senior Baseball League play Aug. 27 in Kentville, the host team were shut out by the Dartmouth Dry 10-0.
Shawn Tomlinson struck out a career high 12 batters, throwing all seven innings for the win.
Dartmouth's Chris Head and Scott Harrison had a single and a double each, while Greg West added a two-run single. Chris Gallivan added a triple and three RBI.
Kentville is now 3-21 on the season, with four games left to play - all at home versus the Sydney Sooners.
