The game is the second of a two-game series between the two provincial U-17 teams, which is being billed as the Maritime Football Series. The first game took place June 7 at Huskies Stadium in Halifax.
Local-area players on the Nova Scotia U-17 roster include Ethan Clahane, Kyle Chappus, Mitch Miller, Jack Hayes, Alex Hayes and Connor Ross. All are or will be Horton students except for Ross, who attends Central Kings.
Central Kings offensive coordinator Dave Ross is the team's receivers coach. Former Acadia Axemen player Mike Squires is the offensive coordinator.
The game, and the previous one in Halifax, were held as a fundraiser for the provincial elite football program.
A modest admission of $5 for adults and $2 for students will be charged at the gate for the June 20 game, with children 10-and-under admitted free. There will be an onsite canteen, and 50/50 draws will be held.
The Maritime Football Series is the first major initiative from Football Nova Scotia's marketing committee to help showcase the FNS elite programs.
It is also part of the build-up toward the next national tournament to be hosted in Nova Scotia in 2017. Acadia is one of the front-runners to host the Football Canada Cup, which was last held in Wolfville in 2010.
