As disappointed as they are to have the provincial title slip through their fingers, the Pee Wee Valley Bulldogs gave a championship effort.

The Bulldogs squared off against the Dartmouth Destroyers in the Football Nova Scotia Tier 1 Pee Wee championship game at Acadia University’s Raymond Field in Wolfville on Nov. 16. The game was tied at 8 after the first half and the score remained unchanged at the end of the third quarter.

However, a successful field goal by the Destroyers in the fourth quarter put them up by three points and that’s how the game ended, 11 to 8.

See the Thursday, Nov. 21 edition of the Kings County Register for further coverage of the championship game.
