In their final game prior to the break, Acadia dropped a 2-1 decision to Saint Mary's in overtime Nov. 28 at the Halifax Forum.

Stephen Johnston's goal 3:46 into the extra session was the game-winner after the teams had battled through regulation time tied at one goal apiece.

Both goals in regulation time came in the second period. Remi Giftopolous opened the scoring for Acadia on the power play at 10:19. Francis Menard evened the score for the Huskies with an even-strength goal at the 15-minute mark.

The win by the Huskies improved their record to 12-3-1, the same record as Acadia, which earned a point for the overtime loss. UNB, meanwhile, took over sole possession of first place at 12-2-2 with a 9-2 win over Moncton, also Nov. 28.
