Barrington, Northeast Kings and Ecole Par en Bas will play in the Wells Division, while Horton, Central Kings and Yarmouth will make up the Kelly Division.
Tournament action gets underway at 9 a.m. Dec. 28, with Central Kings taking on NKEC. This will be followed by Par en Bas and Horton at 10:30 a.m. and Yarmouth and Barrington at noon.
The tournament will resume at 3 p.m. with Barrington playing Central Kings, followed by Par en Bas versus Yarmouth at 4:30.
After that game, the opening ceremonies will take place starting at 6:15 p.m., with all six participating teams taking part.
Taking part in the opening ceremonies, dropping the puck for a ceremonial opening faceoff, will be three generations of Griffins’ captains – current captain Carter Davidson, his father Troy and grandfather John Davidson.
After that, Horton and Northeast Kings will meet starting at 6:30, continuing a Kelly tournament tradition that dates back to the opening of NKEC 15 years ago.
The Acadia hockey Axemen will hold a practice Dec. 29 from 7-8:45 a.m., after which the tournament resumes with Horton and Barrington meeting at 9 a.m.
The final two round robin games will feature Central Kings and Par en Bas at 10:30 a.m. and NKEC versus Yarmouth at noon.
The crossover semifinals will begin at 3:15 with the #1 team in the Kelly Division taking on #2 in the Wells Division. The second semifinal, between #1 in the Wells Division and #2 in the Kelly, will follow at 4:45 p.m.
The semifinal winners will square off in the championship game beginning at 7:45 p.m.
