The Town of Kentville announced that Robinson’s Cannibis Inc., founded by Andrew Robinson in 2014, is now in the process of clearing a site at 61 Rockwell Drive.
“The projected development is substantial, and Robinson’s tells us their building materials will all be locally sourced, which we really like to hear,” said Kentville Mayor Sandra Snow in a media release issued Sept. 27.
Robinson first expressed interest in finding a site within the Town of Kentville more than a year ago. Projections estimate the first phase of the project will lead to the creation of more than 30 jobs.

“It’s the first major development to occur in the park since the town acquired the land in 2014,” said Young in a brief phone interview Oct. 4.
“It’s just a really exciting development for the park - and for Kentville.”
