WOLFVILLE, N.S. — Thankfully, the skies cleared over Wolfville Saturday afternoon, making for a great regatta in Willow Park.
The first annual Randall House Regatta was a great success, drawing out residents of all ages. There were plenty of games and lots of food, making for the perfect afternoon.
Children played on the playground for most of the morning before activities such as badminton and face painting drew everyone in. The model boats hit the water at 1 p.m. and sailed around the pond in Willow Park.
The Real Scoop, a local ice cream company, was on site serving waffle cones to go along with the cash barbecue. All proceeds from the event will go towards maintenance costs at the Randall House Museum.
The event brought out plenty of Wolfville residents and is sure to become a tradition in the town.
