HANTSPORT, N.S. — As the fall harvest begins to wind down, Hantsport and area residents still have a chance to buy local thanks to a Saturday pop-up farmers’ market.
The weekly artisan and farmers’ market, which started in early June, has moved indoors to the Isabel and Roy Jodrey Memorial Library in Hantsport and will be set up on Saturdays until the end of November. During the summer months, the farmers’ market is held outdoors. The venue features a little bit of everything — from baked goods and fresh produce to dried herbs, knitted items and colourful art pieces.
The library is located at 10 Main St. in Hantsport. The market runs from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
