More than 300 Pumpkin People had arrived back for their annual October stay. The theme this year was back to the 1980s.
On Saturday, children were busy touring the 14 or more displays that had cropped up all over town. They depict the best of 80’s movies including Back to the Future, E.T., Indiana Jones, Stars Wars, and The Karate Kid.
The public displays will be up until Oct. 26 and a display contest is underway. Download the form on the town’s website and return it to the parks and recreation departmnet by Oct. 13 at 4:30 p.m., so judging can take place Oct. 14.
