Kingsbury, a fire captain, was a department veteran at the time of his death May 15, 2015 at the age of 52.
A graduate of the NSCC Kingstec campus after studying electrical construction wiring, he was the owner-operator of Advantage Security Systems Ltd.
As a memorial to their long-time comrade, the ladder company of Tower 41 designed and commissioned a new decal for the ladder platform, which was dedicated recently with Kingsbury’s wife and daughter in attendance.
According to Kingsbury’s obituary, “as a friend, mentor and family member to colleagues in the fire service, he was always humble, and his bravery and courage shone through both on and off the fire ground.”
Now, he will be remembered, by the entire department and especially the crew of Tower 41, at every fire scene.
