KENTVILLE – A Kentville man charged with multiple fraud-related offences in 2017 will serve some time in custody.

Robert James Johnstone, 35, appeared in Kentville provincial court for sentencing on three charges – credit card fraud under $5,000, possession of stolen property and breach of probation - Jan. 23.

Johnstone entered guilty pleas on the three charges that went to sentencing, and additional charges were dismissed. He originally faced 24 charges from incidents stemming back to July 2017, including seven counts each of fraud involving a credit card, possession of stolen property and breach of probation.
